Memizi is designed with your privacy in mind. All flashcards, decks, and user-created content are stored locally on your device, not on our servers. We only collect minimal data necessary for improving the app and optional information you choose to provide.

When you use our App, we collect very limited information:

• Email Address (Optional): If you choose to join our waiting list for account creation features.
• App Performance Data: Anonymous crash reports and basic analytics to help us improve the app.
• Device Information: Basic information about your device type and operating system version to ensure compatibility.

Information Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers:

• User-Created Content: All flashcards and decks you create remain on your device.
• Voice Recordings: Any voice recordings you add to flashcards are stored locally.
• Images: Any images you add to flashcards are stored locally.
• Study Progress: Your review schedules and progress are stored locally.

You control this data and can back it up, restore it, or delete it using the app's built-in functions.

How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Maintain and improve the App's performance and stability
• Process in-app purchases via RevenueCat
• Deliver advertisements through AdMob
• Analyze app crashes using Firebase Crashlytics
• Collect basic app usage metrics using Firebase Analytics
• Communicate with users who have joined the waiting list

Third-Party Services

Our App integrates the following third-party services:

• Firebase: We use Firebase Storage for hosting AI-generated decks, Firestore for deck listings, Firebase Analytics for basic usage metrics, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting, and Firebase Messaging for push notification capabilities. Downloadable Content

The App provides downloadable flashcard decks, some of which contain AI-generated content. When you download these decks, they are stored locally on your device. We do not track which specific decks you download or how you use them beyond basic anonymous usage statistics.

Data Backup and Sharing

Our App provides backup functionality that allows you to export your flashcards and progress. These backups are created and managed entirely by you—we do not access, store, or process backup data on our servers. You can share these backups with others or use them to restore your data.

Children's Privacy

Our App may be used by children under the age of 13. The app collects very limited data regardless of user age. For children under 13, we only collect device information and crash reports necessary for the functioning of the App. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is strictly necessary for the internal operations of the App, such as:

• Maintaining or analyzing the functionality of the App
• Performing network communications necessary for the App to function
• Serving contextual advertisements
• Protecting the security or integrity of the user or App

Parents or guardians who believe we might have collected personal information from a child under 13 beyond what is described here can contact us to review and request deletion of that information.

Advertisements

Our App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. These ads may be targeted based on non-personal information such as device type and general location at the country or city level. In-App Purchases
